Our Background

BF Keane Electrical Contractors Ltd was formed in 1991 by Brian Keane, having worked in the electrical industry since 1985.  BF Keane has established a reputation for providing a reliable, quality driven, professional and cost-effective service for our clients.   Based on this reputation we have built a strong client base.

In addition to our established office team, we also directly employ a skilled team of professional electricians and apprentices, who are fully certified and experienced in delivering high quality standards and a genuine personalisation of service.  We believe in the importance of hiring apprentices and supporting them to become fully qualified and this is reflected in our well-established and motivated team.  Within our team we have a vast knowledge of electrical installations across numerous sectors.  To maintain the Company principles of quality standards and professionalism, all BF Keane staff, whether office or field based, are appropriately qualified in both technical and safety matters.  We follow a rolling programme of continual professional development and training.  All operatives hold Enhanced DBS certification and high levels of security clearance to work on specific sites, such as on the Police estate and Royal Navy bases.

Our team of expert electrical installation professionals always deliver to a high standard, health and safety remains paramount and we always keep to deadlines and budgets set at the start of the project. We pride ourselves on being flexible, professional, approachable and dedicated to all of our clients and projects.

We are members of the NICEIC, as well as the Electrical Contractors Association.  We hold SSIP accreditation through our Alcumus Safecontractor accreditation.  We hold a full complement of standard industry insurances, including £5m Professional Indemnity cover for works undertaken on a design and build basis.

Our internal Health and Safety Manager is supported by our external industry specialist advisors, Citation Ltd, who provide our H&S and HR support services.
